COLTAN MINE COLLAPSED IN THE CONGO

Coltan is composed of columbite and tantalite minerals, and is essential for the manufacture of mobile phones and other electronic devices, as it is used to create very fine capacitors with high reliability and energy resistance. It is a very scarce mineral that is found in few countries, and it is mainly concentrated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
