  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

What exactly is the mess? Who is having the nightmare?

I have several friends who have purchased ACA subsidized health care insurance plans. Two are working and one is on disability. If not for Obamacare, they would be uninsured and have no choice except to go to the nearest emergency room when there was a medical problem.

There is a hospital about two blocks from where I live. This is an urban neighborhood and the ER will close at the end of March. There are so many uninsured people in this area, the ER is losing $2million dollars a month and they can't afford to remain open.

If the ACA is repealed, what do you think will happen then?

This is a little strange. The people I know who have ACA subsidized healthcare plans were not forced to buy anything. They were desperate to find some kind of an insurance plan and were really happy to have health insurance for once.

They won't, at least not right away. What they will do is consume a larger portion of the most expensive kind of healthcare we have in this country. When a diabetic person develops an ulcer on their foot, and they have insurance, they could go to a clinic and the total cost would be a couple hundred dollars, plus the prescriptions. The same visit to an ER would be a grand, minimum.

It seems like people don't mind footing the bill for the indigent to get health care when it's just a little bit too late, as long as it costs as much as possible.

I know plenty of people who did. All that the subsidy does is REDUCE the cost of a piece of shit. It doesn't transform a piece of shit into a pile of gold.

I used to not have insurance. I had to have hernia surgery. It cost me $3,000 out of pocket which I had to raise from family because I'm a broke motherfucker.

Now with this piece of shit insurance I STILL would have had to pay $3,000 out of pocket for the surgery! Plus by having to pay my part of this crap I've got LESS $$$ and am even a BROKER motherfucker! :banghead:

    Thank you, Obama!!!!!!!!!!

You're breaking my heart with your sad story. What exactly are you bitching about? Do you want less tax money to subsidize insurance rates, or more tax money to lower your insurance rate?

You sound like the guy who bitched because his free lunch didn't come with a pickle on a toothpick.

It's a pile of shit that I'm having to pay for! Only the Gold Plan---which is high as a motherfucker and I couldn't afford it even if they would subsidize it for me---is worth a shit! They're forcing us to pay for shit!

What part of "being forced to pay for shit" do you not under-fuckin'-stand!? :banghead:

Maybe I didn't make myself clear in my above post. So allow me to add this....

I'm WORSE OFF with the crap insurance than I was with NO insurance! With this pile of shit I'll STILL have to borrow $$$ from my family until I reach the amount that the insurance will pay for! PLUS I'm an even BROKER motherfucker by having to pay my part of this pile of shit! At least when I didn't have insurance I had more $$$ in my pocket! :banghead:

Thank you, Obama and the rest of you Socialist Democrat motherfuckers!!!

Right.... Deductibles, what a concept. Was that a surprise?
No insurance is great if you have no net worth and don't have anything for a bankruptcy court to take. There's a healthcare plan you can afford.

If the ACA is repealed, perhaps intelligent people will come together and devise a equitable health care plan that will provide the type heath care that the American people deserve. The ACA was hastily written by people not really competent to do so. You can't deny that fact. If the authors were competent, the bills roll out would have been a non event. No provisions of the bill would have to be delayed. No citizens would lose their insurance coverage and citizens would not be required to change doctors. Citizens would not be forced to pay for insurance coverage they do not need. You have to be honest with yourself, this ACA bill is severely flawed and needs to be revised.

Yeah. That's what the shit is called. "Deductible." What an utter pile of shit!!! You have to pay a whole shitload before the insurance kicks in. Plus you get the "joy" of paying for the shit every month while the greedy insurance companies laugh their asses off at you for being a dumb motherfucker for paying them for a pile of shit PLUS having to pay out of pocket for stuff.

Here's the "catastrophic insurance" plan that I had before Obamacare....

    1. If I was ever at the point of death I'd go to a hospital which BY LAW can't refuse to treat me just because I don't have insurance.
    2. I'd get treatment.
    3. Later when I got the bill I'd negotiate it down to something that I can afford (i.e., a $1 a week) OR I'd tell them that old story about trying to get blood out of a turnip.
I was happy with my plan. :)

Obama said that if I liked my plan I could keep it. What a lying sack of shit! :rage:

My old plan was one that my family members who vote Democrat had before Obamacare. If it was good enough for those lazy fuckers on welfare it was good enough for me. :D

This is what happened before the ACA. The only people that had health insurance were people that had it provided by their employer or people that owned assets that could be seized through legal action by health care providers. The poor had Medicaid and the rest had no insurance. If they got sick they went to the emergency room. The hospitals worked out payment plans they could afford.
